We are delighted to welcome you to Numbers. Firstly, we need to complete our engagement process which involves various steps – don’t worry, we’ll guide you through it all! To get started, please could you:
- Complete your new client form
- Anti Money Laundering checks – please send welcome@numbers-ltd.co.uk photo ID and a selfie of you with that ID so that we can see the likeness. We will also then run an ID check with Equifax.
- Once you’re set up on all our systems, we will be in touch with your letter(s) of engagement.

New Client forms:
Please complete the relevant form(s) below by clicking the image or scanning the QR code. If you are signing up your organisation and you would also like us to do your personal tax return(s), please complete the individual form for each person who requires a personal tax return.
ID check with Equifax:
Numbers is required to process client data in accordance with:
- The Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 218)
- Anti-money laundering compliance from the ACCA
Additionally, the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 41(1) state that ‘Any personal data obtained by relevant persons for the purposes of these Regulations may only be processed for the purposes of preventing money laundering, terrorist financing or proliferation financing’ …unless 41(3)(b) ‘the relevant person has obtained the consent of the data subject to the proposed use of the data’ is used.
In order to be compliant with the Money Laundering Regulations, we need to confirm the identity of all individuals and company directors before we undertake any work for you. We will therefore complete an online identity check with Equifax via our software provider TaxCalc. The information which you provide to us is given to TaxCalc and they may disclose it to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency which may keep a record of that information; and the credit reference or fraud prevention agency may disclose that information, and the fact that a Search was made, to its other customers for the purposes of verifying identity, assessing the risk of giving credit, preventing fraud and tracing debtors.
